![]() I just tend to fall in the latter category.Compare To Six Star Pre Workout Explosionīefore you go guzzling a glass of this stuff, let’s pop the lid and see what’s inside. Check out my review of Steel’s Amped AF review I did for one example. But if you’re looking for something that’s super intense and makes you want to lift a million pounds, there’s other products that may be more suited to you. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t cost a lot and has a minimum amount of ingredients, and gives you a boost to energy this is a great choice. ![]() Just if you’re considering trying it, understand where you are in the stimulant tolerance range. I think it’s a high quality product with decent ingredients, so I don’t want to make this review come off like it’s bad, it is definitely good. While I like this pre workout, I do prefer something a bit stronger. The problem that I have is that I just like to get really jacked up before working out. I feel like this is probably healthier for you than getting all jacked up before a workout. The energy and focus I get from PureForm is good, but it’s not great. This makes me pretty tolerant to caffeine, so if I take a pre workout, I generally want something intense. I sit at a desk all day and I drink a lot of coffee to just not fall asleep. Now this may not necessarily be a bad thing. It’s a little bit hard to explain, do I get energy from taking it? Yes. EnergyĪnd getting down to business for a pre workout is how it makes me feel. I can imagine super macho body builders being turned off by the color, but I don’t really care what it looks like either, I just want to get down to business. It’s kind of funny that it’s pink though. It’s a bit sour for me, if I had a preference I’d want a fruit flavor or something less tangy. I don’t need to be lured in by a great tasting pre workout.įor what it’s worth, it tastes pretty good. I just down it and move on to the workout. Personally I couldn’t care less what my pre-workout tastes like. It doesn’t seem to come in any other flavors, so if you don’t like pink lemonade you’re out of luck. The flavor that it comes in is pink lemonade. Either way this is definitely a lower price, and that is certainly a plus when thinking of buying this product. It’s also possible that the lower price is a way to get more sales. It’s possible the ingredients just don’t cost that much to make, so the price is lower. The value for the higher priced pre workouts is definitely questionable, and can be attributed to a certain amount of marketing when it’s that high.īut PureForm is on the lower end in cost. Other pre workouts I’ve bought are in the $50 range, and there are some others out there that go up to $70. It’s not dirt cheap, at $30.00 US, so it’s about normal. The price of this stuff is pretty low compared to other pre-workouts. I look for any way that I can save my calories, and having to adjust what I eat, even slightly, to accommodate my pre-workout is a bit of a bummer. ![]() At 4 carbs per serving, this is not something that is going to make hardly a difference for most, but for me counting macros it is something I need to factor in. ![]() The one thing I kind of don’t like about the nutrition in this product is that it’s not 0 calories. The ingredients of this product tend to support that. His advice is solid, and he doesn’t do any gimmicks or anything. I haven’t watched any of his YouTube videos and felt like he wasn’t anything but a straight forward guy though. Each ingredient is properly dosed and isn’t thrown in just to make money.ĭo I believe this? I have no reason to think he’s lying to make a buck, but of course in this world he could be. They are combined in amounts that are effective, and the stimulants in them aren’t over the top to dangerous levels. Nalewanyj advertises the product as a combination of ingredients that are safer and more effective than other pre workouts. I’m not the best at examining every detail of the ingredients of these products. So here is my Real Science Athletics PureForm Pre-Workout review. He seems to know what he’s talking about, and he also has a product line, so I decided to try his pre-workout. I’ve always liked his basic, no frills approach about how he gives advice. One of those people that I follow is Sean Nalewanyj. As much hype as people like Greg Doucette and Jeff Cavalier get on YouTube, there are other fitness/body building people on there as well that may not get as much attention as the others. ![]()
